Plattsburgh, N.Y.-based Taylor Rental has opened a new store in Saranac Lake, the Plattsburgh Press-Republican is reporting. Brad Idzik, the store manager, told the Press Republican that the Plattsburgh store had a lot of customers from the Saranac Lake area, so it made send to open a branch there.
Idzik added that the store has done extremely well in its first five weeks. The branch is similar to the main store, with large Husqvarna and Milwaukee power tool displays. The branch has large contractor equipment, tools, party goods and safety supplies.
The main store in Plattsburgh opened in 2005.
