Star Rentals Opens Ferndale, Wash., Branch

Seattle-based Star Rentals is moving into a new location in Ferndale, Wash., the company's 18th branch. Star recently received its occupancy permit and is in process of preparing to open the facility, near Bellingham. Star president Bob Kendall told RER he expects the rental center to be fully operational around Aug. 24. An aerial specialist with a wide-ranging inventory of general construction equipment, Star is the leading rental company in the Pacific Northwest. The company now has 12 branches in Washington and six in Oregon.

The branch manager is Jack Stahl, who has been with Star for 13 years, Kendall said.
