SmartEquip Expands Network to Include Mid-Market Rental Companies
SmartEquip just announced the extension of its e-FleetPro system to now enable mid-market rental companies to connect to the industry-spanning SmartEquip Network. Currently, about 75 percent of the RER top 20 construction equipment rental locations are connected to the company’s network, with each location receiving dynamically fleet-customized, real-time product support information from OEMs, while also being able to place electronic parts orders from either the OEM or their designated dealers. The new program, to be introduced at next week’s Rental Show, will extend the reach of the network to rental companies with only a small number of locations, depending only on the company’s equipment fleet mix and its existing rental management software.
“Over the past two years we have made good progress in extending the reach of our network to include not only national rental fleets, but also a growing number of large-scale contractors in the U.S., as well as new rental companies across Europe,” said Alexander Schuessler, SmartEquip’s founder and president of the company’s international group. “With our newly developed technology, we can now offer a viable price point to owners and operators of smaller rental companies, with as few as three or more locations, so that they can enjoy the same type of operational efficiency benefits that were previously available only to the national fleets.”
SmartEquip will offer introductory pricing for this new platform at this year’s Rental Show.
The SmartEquip Network supports more than 100 OEM brands and its customers’ fleets exceed $20 billion in total value across more than 4,000 locations, involving 40,000 users. For more information, visit www.smartequip.com.
