Amos Metz Rentals, a single-location equipment rental company located in Woodland, Calif., announced it has been sold.
“Amos Metz has been in business since 1945 and is a staple in its marketplace,” said Joe Metz, an owner. “We are very pleased to have sold our business to Sacramento-based investors who know our business very well. We had several options after our long-time manager, Willie Truitt, retired and selling to this group was a natural fit for both parties. Willie, who owned a portion of the business, had a wonderful career in rental for over 40 years and we appreciate all of his hard work and efforts.”
The company will retain its name and the undisclosed buyer will continue to operate the business in the same tradition going forward, the company said.
Fred Hageman of Rental Acquisitions LLC facilitated the transaction on behalf of both the buyer and the seller. Attorney Les Chayo provided legal services to both parties.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
