Portable storage provider Mobile Mini named Kelly Williams executive vice president, operations, replacing Phil Hobson, who is stepping down to take over leadership of BlueLine Rentals. Williams previously worked as senior vice president, western division. Williams will assume responsibility for MM’s North American operations immediately, reporting to president and CEO Erik Olsson.
Williams is an eight-year veteran of the equipment rental industry, including time at RSC Rental as a vice president, regional vice president, regional sales director and fleet director.
“Having worked with Kelly for many years, I am very familiar with his track record of success in the rental industry and the impact his dynamic leadership has already made at Mobile Mini,” said Olsson. “Kelly is a proven leader in achieving operational excellence, superior sales and asset management, creating financial growth and mentoring employees at all levels.”
