Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. has entered Iowa with a new branch in Cedar Rapids, located in Linn County, which Fourth Economy Consulting said is one of the Top 10 economic communities in the United States. The community was ranked No. 4 on the chart, recognized as ideally positioned to attract modern investment and managed economic growth.
Investments of more than $750 million in the past four years have yielded several major development and revitalization projects, HERC said. The branch will serve customers in the Eastern Iowa Corridor, including Benton, Blackhawk, Cedar, Clinton, Dubuque, Iowa, Johnson, Jones, Linn and Muscatine counties.
HERC will provide aerial, compaction and paving, earthmoving, generators, forklifts and other material handling equipment, trailers, small tools and more.
Based in Park Ridge, N.J., HERC is No. 3 on the RER 100.
