Former Stone Construction Equipment Headquarters Burns

Aug. 28, 2013

The former Honeoye, N.Y., headquarters of Stone Construction Equipment, was destroyed by fire last week when the 100-year-old building, which most recently housed the construction equipment maker, caught fire, the Democrat and Chronicle.com reported. The cause of the blaze is still being investigated.

The assets of Stone Construction Equipment were acquired earlier this year by Bloomington, Minn.-based Toro Co., a worldwide provider of turf, landscape, rental and construction equipment, and irrigation and outdoor lighting solutions.
