Compact Power Equipment Rental has added new construction products from Genie, Gehl, Toro, and AUSA, which the company plans to roll out for rental at Home Depot stores in select markets nationwide. The Genie GR-20 Runabout is a small-platform aerial unit that is designed to easily navigate through homes or worksites and can be used in construction, installation, maintenance and stock-picking. The lift can extend to a working height of 25 feet, and features a zero-turning radius, which makes it easier to reach places not accessible for larger aerial work platforms. The Gehl 3640E skid-steer loader is a wheeled model designed for large-scale outdoor improvement projects including leveling land and clearing ground. The Toro TX 1000 is a mini-skid-steer loader with similar structure as the Toro TX427 Dingo. The unit features a lift capacity of 1,000 pounds, an enhanced traction control system, and is designed for small outdoor projects. The AUSA TH2513 telehandler is built to hold up to 2,500 pounds and reach heights up to 13 feet.“As our customers’ projects continue to evolve, so must our equipment,” said Compact Power chief operating officer Richard Porter. “With the additions from Genie, Gehl, Toro and AUSA, we’ve expanded our existing equipment partnerships – as well as creating new ones – to ensure Compact Power Equipment Rental remains customers’ source for heavy equipment during their renovation and improvement projects.”

The new equipment will be going into 28 markets throughout the country, although not all the same. The Gehl 3640E is going into 16 markets; the Toro TX 1000 is going into 12; the Genie GR-20 Runabout in five; and the AUSA TH2513 in two.

Compact Power Equipment Rental is available at more than 1,000 Home Depot locations throughout the United States and Canada. Equipment includes skid-steer loaders, aerial equipment, tractor loader backhoes, mini-excavators, trenchers, aerators, chipper shredders and stump grinders.
