Chinese construction equipment manufacturer SDLG presented new machines as well as some golden oldies at its Bauma China stand in Shanghai last week. The company presented machines from across its product range.
SDLG showed nine wheel loaders, ranging from the 1-ton capacity LG918 to the 9-ton capacity LG989. Also presented was the LG959F, which is the first SDLG wheel loader to be sold in North America.
“There are three central messages we wanted to convey at Bauma China 2014,” said Guo Shaohua, SDLG brand and communication director. “First is that we are a full-line provider. We are well-known for our wheel loaders, and we’re probably the world’s leading manufacturer of these. But we also have a strong product portfolio spanning a wide range of other equipment. Second, we wanted to give the market some insight into our future development plans, so we had several machines on dislay that are new, or recently released, plus two concept machines, in the form of the L912OF wheel loader and the LG6460E excavator. And finally, we wanted to underline our ambition to be China’s largest construction equipment manufacturer, so we took one of the largest exhibition spaces at the show.”
SDLG also showed nine excavators models, including a 30-ton unit, a backhoe loader and a range of road machinery.
