BlueLine Rental has named John Hafferty as chief financial officer replacing Evan Brumm, who is transitioning into a new position as executive vice president, strategic planning. Hafferty comes to BlueLine from Pacer International, a publicly traded transportation and global logistics services provider, where he has served as CFO since 2010.
Hafferty will report to new CEO Phil Hobson, who was named CEO last week.
“John is a talented, proven CFO who will bring a lot of experience and valuable perspective to BlueLine Rental at an exciting time in the evolution of the business,” said Hobson. “Evan Brumm will play a key role in executing the growth strategy of the company and continue to serve as a member of the management team.”
Hafferty also held executive positions at Schenker, Americas, a unit of Schenker Logistics Co., and UPS.
Based in Shippensburg, Pa., BlueLine Rental is No. 5 on the RER 100.
