Belgium-based Sarens Group, a rental company specializing in crane rental with branches around the globe, has acquired Rigging International, based in Alameda, Calif. RI, founded in 1969, is a major player in the heavy lift rigging and heavy haul transport industries, with offices in southern California, New Jersey, Ohio, Montana and Tokyo.
The acquisition gives the Sarens Group entry into the U.S. market and greater reach internationally. The company sees the move as an opportunity to sustain future growth internationally.
