Axis Crane Takes Delivery of First Zoomlion Crawler Crane Sold in U.S.

Global Crane Sales, as part of its newly formed partnership with Zoomlion, this week sold its first QUY260 crawler crane in the U.S. to Axis Crane, a full-service crane rental and construction company with locations in Albany, N.Y., Portland, Ore., and Seattle. With this announcement Zoomlion launches its new crawler crane line to the North American market.

Global Crane Sales, as part of its newly formed partnership with Zoomlion, this week sold its first QUY260 crawler crane in the U.S. to Axis Crane, a full-service crane rental and construction company with locations in Albany, N.Y., Portland, Ore., and Seattle. With this announcement Zoomlion launches its new crawler crane line to the North American market.

Part of a complete line of QUY crawler cranes, the 260-metric ton QUY260 is built to high engineering and design standards, including high-quality components, and is ANSI-certified. The QUY260 is designed for a variety of applications including general construction, construction of windmills, as well as oil rigs and refineries.

Featuring an optimized boom design and constructed with imported high-strength steel, the QUY260 offers a maximum lifting capacity of 287 tons. The maximum lifting capacity with the luffing jib is 81 tons, and 37.5 tons with the fixed jib. The main boom length range is 65.6 to 272.3 feet and the extended-reach boom ranges from 282.2 to 311.7 feet.
