AmQuip’s Bardonaro Named CEO

The board of managers of Philadelphia-based crane rental specialist AmQuip Crane Rental, last week approved the promotion of Frank Bardonaro Jr. to president and CEO. Bardonaro, who previously served as president and chief operating officer, will take over for Richard Bard who will remain as AmQuip’s chairman.

Bardonaro, who previously served as president and chief operating officer, will take over for Richard Bard who will remain as AmQuip’s chairman.

“On behalf of our board of managers, I’m pleased to announce that Frank will take sole charge of our day-to-day business, reporting directly to the board,” said Bard. “He has provided the leadership to manage AmQuip successfully through this recessionary downturn, and he has the support of our management team, customers and key suppliers as we move forward together.”

AmQuip has service facilities in Bensalem, Pa.; Baltimore; Marcus Hook, Pa.; Carteret, N.J.; Boston; Cincinnati; Nashville, Tenn.; Memphis, Tenn.; Birmingham, Ala.; and Atlanta. The company is No. 17 on the RER 100.
