Fairfield, Calif.-based All Star Rents signed a sublease with Hertz Big 4 Rentals for its 1.5-acre yard and store in Novato, Calif., according to the North Bay Business Journal.

All Star CEO Ken deVries said the new location will enable the company to bring in more trucks and trailers and large equipment and have capacity for large tractor-trailer rigs.

All Star recently had to give up its old Novato location, which was the third branch the company opened after starting the rental company in 1962, but was the company’s smallest facility. The facility was bid on by several competitors.

After several RER 100 appearances, All Star dropped to No. 113 as a result of the extreme recession in northern California.
