Huskie Hydraulic Hammer
The new Series II hammers feature impact energies from 200 foot-pounds to 1,200 foot-pounds. The increase in power is attributed to a combination of a redesign of the operating piston, main valve and internal porting. In addition, a slight increase in the low-pressure nitrogen gas charge was added to the Series II models. The hammers employ a gas assist operating cycle that uses the hydraulic system to provide most of the power. The low-pressure gas charge helps control recoil and hose surge without the need for a second accumulator.

MacKissic
The Easy Auger is now road-towable in both the standard and self-propelled models, and comes standard with a 34-inch wide wheelbase for better towing and stability. It offers 275 foot-pounds of torque and its reversible hydraulic powered auger won't kick back like mechanical systems. The compact hitch coupler attaches to the heavy-duty engine frame with two pins for proper tongue weight distribution and there is no heavy, bulky tow bar to worry about. The Easy Auger is available with 9 hp Honda or Briggs & Stratton vanguard engines.
“The Easy Auger is proving to be the affordable answer to our hard ground troubles,” says Lou Di Guiseppe, manager, Rental World, Limerick, Pa. “Both male and female renters have found that by not having to lift the auger off the ground the job becomes less fatiguing … almost enjoyable.”
