Allied Construction Products

Allied Construction Products introduces the Hy-Ram HR Series hydraulic impact hammer. Hy-Ram has an oil and gas operation that increases efficiency, a longer piston stroke for higher impact power and an auto-stop system to prevent blank firing. Allied's design of gas-assist using low-pressure nitrogen is designed to improve the efficiency by reducing demand on the carrier's hydraulic system. There is no dependency on accumulators. In addition, pressurized oil is always present at the bottom of the piston to prevent internal cavitation.

Chicago Pneumatic Tools

Chicago Pneumatic launches the new CP 0112, CP 0112 S and CP 0112 EX handheld pneumatic breakers that offer a 15-percent increase in performance compared to the previous CP 0111 series. The new breakers feature alloy steel forgings for improved durability. The four-bolt backhead withstands rugged use and the integral oiler provides continuous lubrication. The models weigh between 30 and 35 pounds, and are well suited to situations where easy handling and weight restrictions are important. The CP 0112 models are designed for light demolition applications such as floors, pavement, frozen ground and masonry walls.

Caterpillar

The new DEM50 ultra high demolition machine from Demlone and Caterpillar offers a flexible working height of 18, 21 or 23 meters and can carry a work tool weighing up to 3,000 kg. Built on the Caterpillar 336D L demolition duty hydraulic excavator, Demlone manufactures the front-end structures and assembles the completed machine. The machine is equipped with a hydraulic boom foot coupler, with the lower pins being controlled hydraulically from the cab. All hydraulic hoses between the boom foot and the main boom structure are equipped with quick disconnects, allowing the boom configuration to be changed in 20 minutes — far less than the 3 to 4 hours of previous machines.

E-Z Drill

E-Z Drill offers a vertical drill tailored to gas utility companies. The Model 20 UTL is designed to save time and money by allowing companies to pinpoint the site of a gas leak without tearing out a significant stretch of roadway. The standard 18-inch drill depth can be significantly modified based on needs, with depths customized to several feet deep. Drill bit diameter ranges from 5/8 inch to 2 ½ inches, and a minimum of 100 cfm of compressed air is required for operating the drill. The Model 20 UTL weighs just 207 pounds and is supported by a 29-inch wheel base.

Arrow-Master

The Arrow Hammer Model 1350T is a pneumatic-tired mobile hydraulic hammer that operates both on and off paved surfaces. An 80-hp John Deere, Tier-3 turbocharged diesel engine powers the Arrow Hammer, which breaks, cuts and scores concrete, rock and asphalt into sizes suitable for excavation, recovery or cracking and seating. The standard synchromesh transmission allows the machine to be driven at speeds up to 20 mph. During operation, the unit propels itself through a hydraulically controlled creeper gear, providing speeds up to 63 feet per minute.
