The Scoop-N-Mix skid-steer concrete mixer from Star Industries has a universal quick-tach for easy attachment to all brands of skid-steer loaders. The drum produces 1/3-cubic-yard in each batch. Using the skid-steer tilt cylinders, the mixer can rotate into a bucket loading position to scoop up the sand and gravel. The unit then tilts back to its upright mixing position for the addition of water and cement to make concrete that ready for placement. The skid-steer can then quickly transport the concrete to the pour area where it can be discharged through the side gate or out the top by tilting the mixer forward.
