Ariens Co. introduces Auto-Turn steering technology for its line of Sno-Thro snow blowers, providing the first zero-turn technology available for snow removal, the company says.
The Auto-Turn feature is designed to eliminate the need to take large loops during a turn, facilitating even, tight turns from the center axis of the machine. Now operators can avoid straining and pulling while initiating a turn, instead guiding the snow blower precisely and smoothly without adjusting speed. Auto-Turn increases efficiency and maneuverability, while decreasing operator fatigue and stress. No manual adjustments are necessary to enable the Auto-Turn feature.“The revolutionary new Auto-Turn technology changes the snow removal experience without adjusting speed or engaging triggers or levers,” says Angela Raddant, snow product marketing manager for Ariens Co. “The technology is exclusively available on Ariens two-stage Sno-Thro equipment and enables operators to turn effortlessly without adjusting speed.”
Auto-Turn is available on Ariens Deluxe 28 and 30 wheel-drive models and all models in the Ariens Platinum, Professional and Hydro-Pro families. It is also available on Ariens Pro and Hydro-Pro track-drive models.
“I think the biggest advantage of a Sno-Thro with Auto-Turn as part of a rental fleet is how intuitive and easy to use these machines are,” Raddant says. “A large, two-stage snow thrower can be complicated to someone who never used one before, but Auto-Turn steering technology makes it simple. The customer doesn’t have to worry about squeezing a trigger or lever to initiate a turn, the machine does the work.”
