Hyundai Heavy to Invest in China R&D Facility

Hyundai Heavy Industries, owner of the world’s biggest shipbuilding operation, plans to invest $30 million in China to build a research facility for shipbuilding as well as construction equipment and engines. HHI will invest in next-generation shipping technology including wind-power facilities and robot systems.

Hyundai Heavy Industries, owner of the world’s biggest shipbuilding operation, plans to invest $30 million in China to build a research facility for shipbuilding as well as construction equipment and engines. HHI will invest in next-generation shipping technology including wind-power facilities and robot systems.

HHI has four research centers in Korea and one in Hungary.
