Luby Equipment Services Holds Quincy, Ill., Open House After Expansion
Luby Equipment Services, a St. Louis-based Case Construction Equipment dealer, has expanded its Quincy, Ill., branch to include additional service bays. The new bays were necessary to keep up with customer demand and give technicians more room to perform maintenance and repairs. Luby hosted an open house at the Quincy store April 20 to celebrate the addition.
The event consisted of a catered lunch, various door prizes from Case, Takeuchi, Eager Beaver and Virnig Attachments as well as a Yeti Cooler giveaway. The crowd of more than 100 people had the opportunity to participate in a backhoe rodeo, in which they could test their equipment operating skills.
“With drastically warmer weather, we were a little concerned that our customers would be back at work, but a lot of them broke away for an hour to come have lunch and enjoy some networking,” said Jenny Swafford, sales and marketing coordinator at Luby Equipment Services. “It was a great turnout, and we will be doing more events throughout the year.”
Luby is also hosting a unique visit from Congressman Darin LaHood from Illinois’ 18th district, on May 3. “The congressman will be touring our Quincy store and discussing current legislative issues and concerns with the Luby employees,” said David Kedney, sales manager for Luby Equipment Services.
