Warren Cat this week commemorated the opening of its new Warren Cat Rental & Sales Center location in Norman, Okla., on what was deemed OU Day, featuring four-time NCAA national softball champion and catcher for the OKC Spark, Kinzie Hansen. The storefront at 6777 N. Interstate Drive is a centralized Cat equipment rental and purchase hub for earthmoving, agriculture, landscaping and DIY project clients in Norman, Moore and the surrounding communities.

The Norman Chamber of Commerce joined Warren Cat to celebrate the store’s opening with a ribbon cutting, followed by an open house that included a unique meet-and-greet opportunity with Hansen.

“We celebrated OU Day with this event that demonstrates our long-time relationship with OU athletics and our commitment to the city of Norman,” said vice president of marketing and digital for Warren Cat Tony Johnson. “Kinzie is an OU alumnus who long ago put down roots in Norman. We’re following her lead by establishing a strong base and storefront in Norman, where we hope to serve customers with their equipment needs for many years to come.”

Johnson added that, in addition to renting and purchasing equipment, the store offers local customers support for their rentals and purchases and space for equipment pickup and drop-off.

On May 7 and 8, Warren Cat will have a Red Tag Sale event at the Norman location, offering customers exclusive deals and special discounts on more than 50 pieces of new and used equipment. The event will run during regular business hours, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

“These events offer a great opportunity for customers to get to know us as their local Warren CAT dealer, dedicated to our tagline ‘Whatever the job. Whatever it takes,’” Johnson said.
