Illini Hi-Reach has opened a new branch in South Beloit, Ill., in northern Illinois near the Wisconsin state line. Illini decided on the South Beloit location because of its successful history in the Rockford, Ill., marketplace as well as increasing activity in the Madison, Wis., area.
The South Beloit rental center is a full-service location with about 8,000 square feet of office and shop space on about 11 acres of fenced in, secured outside storage area. Owner Larry Workman told RER that South Beloit is staffed with industry veterans in rental, sales, parts and service segments of Illini’s business.
“It’s time to grow again,” Workman said. “Because of the recession we stood still for a long time. I think an independent that can respond with service and trucking and delivery times and quality equipment and intelligent banter with the customer and quality professional service support will win in the long run.”
Illini has some additional growth plans to be announced in the near future.
Illini Hi-Reach, No. 100 on the RER 100, is based in Lemont, Ill., with an additional branch in East Dundee, Ill.
