Recovering from the second devastating flood to permeate its offices in two years, Associated Equipment Distributors' North American headquarters temporarily lost power and network connectivity following a deluge of rain July 23. AED staff worked through the weekend to salvage data and assets, and the association's website and e-mail service have been restored to nearly 100 percent.

"We are looking at temporary office facilities in close proximity to our Oak Brook, Ill., location just outside of Chicago," said Toby Mack, AED president & CEO. "As we continue wringing out from this painful ordeal, we are accelerating the packing-and-pitching process and hope to be up and running on higher ground by the end of the week."
