Cashman Equipment has begun moving its operations into its new headquarters in Henderson, Nev., CEO MaryKaye Cashman told the Las Vegas Review Journal. The 300,000-square-foot, 42-acre facility will include a 23,414-square-foot Cat Rental Store with an expanded line of equipment, floor displays, service bays and a corporate dispatch department. Cashman’s Power Solutions division will be housed in a 32,266-square-foot building with chassis dynamometer diagnostic capabilities and new off-highway engine service bays, as well as enhanced service bays for on-highway vehicles.
Cashman said the company might add solar panels to the roofs. The buildings are designed to take advantage of natural lighting and will use a geothermal heating and cooling system. The facility will conserve water through efficient irrigation, retention ponds and low-flow plumbing fixtures.
Cashman Equipment is No. 29 on the RER 100.
