Manitowoc Cranes launched a new Portuguese language website in support of Brazil, one of the fastest-growing construction markets. The site provides company information, crane specifications and other resources for customers and potential customers. The website is part of Manitowoc’s philosophy of local support and manufacturing.

“Manitowoc’s local knowledge and expertise is more than sales and support organizations,” said Bruce Buchan, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Manitowoc in Latin America. “Brazil is one of the fastest-growing regions for Manitowoc, and we are committed to serving our customers in that region.

Earlier this year, Manitowoc announced plans to build a 25,000-square-meter factory in southern Brazil to manufacture Grove mobile hydraulic cranes. The company has sales and support operations in Sao Paulo.
