With autumn approaching, the leaves soon will be changing color and ultimately falling.

With more than 50 years of lawn and garden product tradition behind it, MacKissic has unveiled its latest walk-behind leaf blower - the Rolleez - to clear lawns and roofs of decaying leaves. The company says this is the easiest-rolling blower in the industry courtesy of a pneumatic front wheel, which locks straight or swivels, and comes standard with the machine. The unit also offers a front lift handle/bumper and an optional pull handle kit for trailing behind a lawn tractor.

"The front lift handle is very important for rental centers, contractors and homeowners because it allows you to easily load and unload the blower, and it makes it easy to tie down," says Mike Smollock, MacKissic's vice president of sales and marketing.

The Rolleez comes in 6.5- and 10-horsepower models - both of which feature the new Briggs & Stratton Intek I/C OHV engine. Another valuable feature is a discharge that's easy to switch between side and front. Side discharge is effective when the operator wants to blow large amounts of leaves in open areas into piles or windrows for collecting. Front discharge is bestsuited to blowing leaves along a building or curb and is effective in forcing leaves and debris out from under or between bushes.

Rolleez blowers incorporate an impeller system engineered with a high-impact polymer that provides better output with less noise and vibration, Smollock says.
