Volvo Rents Names New Regional Vice President for Canada

Volvo Rents named Paul Dorian regional vice president for Canada. Dorion will be responsible for continuing Volvo Rents expansion throughout Canada, spearheading the company’s growth into Alberta and Ontario.

Born and raised in Montreal, Dorian is familiar with the territory. In his previous position with another equipment rental company, Dorion served as vice president and general manager for Canada, expanding to serve the customer base.

“With Paul’s extensive knowledge of not only the industry, but the market, his role in developing the brand across Canada will be key in our overall growth strategy and introducing our concept to new territories and customers,” said Barry Natwick, chief operating officer of Volvo Rents. “His appointment is yet another reason for us to look to the future with great enthusiasm.”

Volvo Rents currently has 12 branches operating in two Canadian provinces, with Canadian headquarters in Edmonton, Alberta.

“Already this has been such a natural transition,” said Dorion. “Allowing me to employ my existing industry knowledge and experience in developing national brands in Canada, this position provides a niche for my experience and strengths.”

Dorion said he is eager to begin developing new marketsaround the country and “bringing Volvo Rents to wherever the customers are.”

Now with 130 rental centers in North America, Shippensburg, Pa.-based Volvo Rents is No. 21 on the RER 100.
