Strong Spate of Speakers Prepare for AED Summit

Political pundit Tony Blankey, press secretary to former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich; Alan Beaulieu, economist, principal and executive vice president of the Institute for Trend Research will address the morning session January 27. The afternoon session on “The Distributor’s Action Plan for Achieving Profitability” will feature Dr. Albert Bates, founder and chairman of the Profit Planning Group, which compiled the research for AED’s 2010 Cost of Doing Business Report.

The January 28 session on The Future of Distribution, will be moderated by Mike Marks, president of Indian River Consulting, who has moderated a number of AED forums and events. Panelists include Monty Boyd, president and CEO of Whayne Supply Co. and Walker Machinery Co.; Dave Griffith president and CEO of the Modern Group; Neil Manning of president and CEO of Wajax Machinery; and Jay Paradis, chairman of Brandeis Machinery & Supply Co.
