Multiquip is supporting the annual Concrete Industry Management auction at World of Concrete 2018, providing its best-selling model – the MQ Whiteman HHNG5 8-foot ride-on power trowel – to go on the auction block in support of CIM’s unique educational programs.

CIM programs prepare future concrete industry leaders by providing broadly educated graduates grounded in basic business management who are knowledgeable in concrete technology and techniques and are able to manage people and systems as well as promote products and services related to the industry.

“CIM provides a foundation for development and growth of future leaders within our industry,” said Juan Quiros, senior director of engineering and product support for Multiquip. “The individuals and companies committing time and resources for CIM programs care about the concrete industry. Long term, we’d like to see additional universities create similar programs.”

The 2018 CIM auction will be held Jan. 24 during the 2018 World of Concrete in the North Hall meeting rooms of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Last year, the concrete industry donated more than 150 items through both the silent and live auctions, raising more than $875,000 in gross revenue for universities participating in the program.
