A panel discussion on aerial safety has been added to the Lift & Access Showcase & Symposium in Orlando, Fla.

A panel discussion on aerial safety has been added to the Lift & Access Showcase & Symposium in Orlando, Fla. On Oct. 23 at 4 p.m. at the Bohemian Hotel in Celebration, Fla., construction safety managers have been invited to discuss “Working at Heights While Using Aerial Work Platforms, Mast Climbing Work Platforms and Telehandlers.”

With the help of Jeff Stachowiak, national safety training director for Sunbelt Rentals and executive vice president of the Scaffold & Access Industry Association, key construction safety managers from around the globe will participate in the roundtable discussion.

Turner Construction and Kiewit have committed two of their top safety professionals to sit on the panel Other representatives from the largest construction companies are expected to participate in the discussion on how their employees safely work at height using aerial work platforms, telehandlers and mast climbers.

The Lift & Access Showcase & Symposium will be held in Orlando, Fla., collocated with the Ritchie Bros. auction Oct. 24 and 25. The event will be sponsored by Lift & Access magazine, RER and Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers.
