Tier 4 Final engine

Perkins new 400F, the latest addition to the 400 Series range, meets Tier 4 Final/Stage IIIB regulations. The engine runs up to 61 hp and offers 3- and 4-cylinder engines. Perkins’ testing facility has a tilt cell that allows them to check performance while simulating the typical and extreme conditions an engine would experience in customer applications. The tilt cell has a hydraulically actuated table that can rotate a fully-instrumental engine through 180 degrees on the crankshaft axis and tilt up or down 45 degrees while running. www.perkins.com/
