Hyster Reaction is a package of lift truck operator-assist technologies designed to reinforce proper lift truck operation by automatically adjusting truck performance based on real-time equipment status, location and operating conditions.  

The system’s capability includes automatic slowdowns as trucks approach intersections, limited speed in pedestrian zones, proactive speed reduction when traveling around corners and hydraulic lockout to prevent moving loads that exceed weight thresholds.

Even while the system applies these performance limitations, the operator remains in control of the lift truck. The technologies include advanced dynamic stability, object detection, proximity detection and real-time location sensing, tailored to the complexities of operating lift trucks in demanding indoor environments.
