Chicago Pneumatic Recognizes Top Sales People at Annual Meeting

Chicago Pneumatic held its annual sales meeting Feb. 10, coinciding with The Rental Show in Las Vegas. During the meeting, CP honored individuals who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in sales and customer service.

Winners were selected based on their performance in 2012, and the five categories included regional sales manager of the year, excellence in customer care, portable energy, handheld compaction, and hydraulic attachments.

“We are excited to honor these folks who give CP such a great name when it comes to sales and service,” said John Vogel, executive vice president of Chicago Pneumatic Construction Equipment. “We are proud of our entire sales and service team, and this gives us an opportunity to recognize a few key players.”

Toronto, Ontario-based Jan Marcus was awarded regional sales manager of the year. He manages sales for Chicago Pneumatic throughout Canada. Marcus has been with CP since January 2012 and has been an integral part in the growth of that market.

The excellence in customer care award went to Kim Hudak, customer service team lead based at the CP headquarters in Independence, Ohio. Hudak has ensured a high level of customer service to CP customers for almost seven years.

The award for outstanding sales with the Portable Energy product line went to Jesse Bacon with Cardinal Sales, in Berryville, Va. Bacon has been with Cardinal Sales for 17 years, and has represented the CP portable energy product line for 4 years.

Joe Dragon, also with Cardinal Sales, was 2012’s top seller for the CP Handheld & Compaction lines. Dragon has been a member of the Cardinal Sales team since 1994, and is based in Auburn, Mass.

CP honored Tony Kannenberg from Construction Product Sales for his outstanding sales performance with the hydraulic attachment line. Kannenberg is based in Broadview, Ill., and covers Northern Illinois, and Northwest Indiana for CPS. He has been with the company for 20 years.
