Nikko Tanaka Engineering U.S.A., Ltd. last week announced that Tanaka products retailed after Oct. 1, will carry a two-year commercial-use warranty and a three-year consumer-use warranty. The prior coverage for commercial use was one year (with the exception of select blower and drill models, which carried two-year coverage) and two years for consumer use.
This new warranty coverage applies to all products except for the TBC-225C and TBC-225CS grass trimmers, which are not intended for commercial use. Other main components of the overall warranty will remain unchanged including a one-year rental use warranty and lifetime drive-shaft warranty.
