The Scaffold & Access Industry Association A92 members recently voted and approved three new sub-committees in Las Vegas at their 2011 annual meeting.

Brent Hoover of JLG Industries was appointed as the A92.20 chairman; Brad Boehler, Skyjack Inc., was appointed as the A92.22 chairman; and Frank Bonesteel, New York State Department of Transportation, was appointed as the A92.24 chairman.

The newly formed subcommittees will begin work in January 2012. All applications considered for subcommittee membership must be received by Monday, Nov. 21. All applications received by Nov.21, will be voted on and approvals announced by Dec. 31.

In addition to Boehler’s recent appointment, in 2006 he was appointed chair of the ANSI A92.6 subcommittee, which is responsible for the U.S. standard for self-propelled elevating work platforms. He is also involved with other global standards development organizations, and is also currently the chair of the International Powered Access Federation Manufacturer’s Technical Committee.
