Doosan Group to Hire 700 to Strengthen R&D

Doosan Group said last week it will hire 700 new employees in the second half of 2009, the Korea Times reported. The company previously said it would hire 500, but announced an additional 40 percent. A Doosan spokesman said the revision will strengthen the research and development capability of the company’s Doosan Infracore and Doosan Heavy Equipment divisions.

Doosan officials said the group’s key executives are now on a massive recruitment campaign, concentrating on South Korea’s major universities.
