Terex is introducing a line of eight new skid-steer loaders ranging from 50 to 83 hp. The TSR50, TSR60, TSR70 and TSR80 are radial lift path models and the TSV50, TSV60, TSV70 and RSV80 are vertical lift path. The medium-frame loaders feature 10 feet, 5 inches of ground clearance and 29-inch rear angle of departure, while the large-frame loaders feature 26-inch rear angles of departure, designed to improve the ability of the machines to traverse soft, uneven terrain. The units are designed with load-sensing hydraulics to ensure that fuel and energy are not wasted on surplus hydraulic power. The loader arms are designed to accommodate over-the-tire steel tracks. Attachments include augers, backhoes, dozer blades, pallet forks, power box rake, snow blade, snow blower, stump grinder, trencher, vibratory roller and a Loegering Eliminator rake.

Case Construction Equipment's new Alpha Series line of skid-steer loaders features nine new models ranging from 46 to 90 hp, with rated operating capacities ranging from 1,300 to 3,000 pounds. With improved fuel efficiency, the new 16- to 25.5-gallon fuel tanks enable the units to run eight to 10 hours without refueling. The new Power Stance chassis design features a longer wheelbase to enable operators to lift and haul more material. Electro-hydraulic switchable controls are available on all Alpha Series models.

Gehl
The V330 skid-steer loader from Gehl is a vertical-lift unit with more than 131 inches of near-vertical-lift height. Thick steel plating braces the lift arm, providing additional strength and durability. A 36.3-gpm high-flow auxiliary hydraulics option is designed to handle attachments. The Hydraglide Ride Control System is featured as standard. The rear door opens on hinges on the right side, allowing full access to regular maintenance points.

New Holland Construction
New Holland Construction introduced seven new skid-steer loaders at ConExpo last month, featuring the patented vertical lift Super Boom design for better forward dump height and reach. The 53-degree dump angle on the 200 series facilitates operators' ability to empty the bucket, increasing cycle times. The new self-leveling bucket feature on the five models with the Super Boom design allows attachments to maintain the pre-set location throughout the lift cycle. The optional Glide Ride makes riding smoother. The 200 Series loaders feature 16- to 25.5-gallon fuel tanks, allowing operators to work 10 to 12 hours before refueling, according to the manufacturer.

Volvo Construction Equipment unveils nine new models in its C-Series skid-steer loader product line. The wheeled models are the MC110C, MC115C, MC125C, MC135C and MC155C, ranging from 2,250 pounds operating capacity to 3,295 pounds, with gross engine power ranging from 84 hp to 92 hp. MCT110C, MCT125C, MCT135C and MCT145C are the four tracked models. Volvo will add new models later this year. The units feature a single loader arm design engineered to improve visibility, safety and enhanced cab access with side entry, eliminating the need to climb onto and over buckets or attachments. The left-hand control pod hinges rearward with the assistance of a single gas strut. The right control pod features a wrap-around seat bar designed for all sizes of operators. All hydraulic connections use o-ring face seal fittings to eliminate hydraulic leaks and resist line vibrations/twists.

JCB
JCB's new range of seven skid-steer loaders — four wheeled and three tracked — are part of a line that will eventually encompass 18 models. All seven machines are vertical lift, and include the 260, 280, 300 and 330 wheeled units and 260T, 300T, and 320T track loaders, all with rated operating capacities of at least 2,600 pounds. The machines feature a tilting cab with increased service access, multi-function joysticks, a hydraulic quick hitch, an isolated cab sealed and pressurized with reduced noise levels, heated air-suspension seats with adjustable armrests, o-ring face seals for hydraulic connections, and a range of more than 30 types of JCB attachments. The units feature JCB's Powerboom design with a single arm. The machines do not require a torque tube across the back of the machine, thus reducing rear view obstruction. Laminated glass replaces the mesh screen on the cabs.

Ditch Witch
The SK350 mini skid-steer loader from Ditch Witch features a 7.5-gallon fuel tank and a 12-gpm auxiliary circuit flow to run more than 70 utility attachments. The exterior position of both the gas and hydraulic tanks, mounted on the frame, enables operators to refuel or top off hydraulic fluid without raising the engine hood. The unit comes standard with a 20-hp Kohler engine. The SK350 comes with quick-disconnect fittings so attachments can be changed under pressure without having to shut down the machine.

Bobcat's S750 skid-steer loader joins the M-Series loader line, including the S630, S650, S770 and S850 skid-steer loaders and the T630, T650, T750, T770 and T870 compact track loaders. Caterpillar
The new B-Series loaders from Caterpillar — including skid-steer loader models 216B3, 226B3, 236B3, 242B3, and 252B — incorporate design refinements. The 242B3 and 257B3 feature a larger engine and more powerful hydraulics. All B-Series 3 models include a redesigned “dead-engine lower valve,” a single electronic control module relocated for improved access and reliability. A heavy-duty 880 CCA battery is standard on the larger models. The dead-engine lower valve promotes safer operation by providing an easier means of lowering the lift arms, allowing safe exit for the operator if the machine runs out of fuel or stalls with lift arms raised. The more powerful engine on the 242B3 has a 6.4-gpm increase in standard flow.
