Cummins Announces New Urea Dosing System to Diesel Engine Manufacturers

Cummins Emission Solutions, a division of Cummins Inc. announced this week that it is in the advanced development stages of a new urea dosing system — the EcoFit Urea Dosing System, a new aftertreatment product innovation designed to meet upcoming emission regulations in China, India and Russia.

Cummins Emission Solutions, a division of Cummins Inc. announced this week that it is in the advanced development stages of a new urea dosing system — the EcoFit Urea Dosing System, a new aftertreatment product innovation designed to meet upcoming emission regulations in China, India and Russia.

The company also introduced the EcoFit brand, which will represent all Cummins Emission Solutions global aftertreatment products and solutions. EcoFit symbolizes clean emission solutions that leverage innovative technology, customized to fit different engines and applications.

The EcoFit Urea Dosing System is being developed by Cummins Emission Solutions for use in light-duty, mid-range and heavy-duty commercial vehicles. The new EcoFit system is designed to integrate into existing engine and aftertreatment systems, while improving system robustness and fuel economy.

Cummins Emission Solutions, a subsidiary of Cummins Inc. and a business in the Components segment, designs, manufactures and integrates exhaust aftertreatment technology and solutions for the commercial on- and off-highway light-duty, medium-duty, heavy-duty and high-horsepower engine markets.
