The Genie 8-Series telehandlers, which includes the GTH-842 and the GTH-844 (pictured), are designed to climb hills and power through rough terrain with low-end torque, four-wheel drive, four-wheel steering and an easy-to-use power shift transmission with three-speed forward and reverse. These units’ frame-leveling chassis allow operators to pick and place loads on up to 10-degree side slopes. The GTH-842 has an 8,000-pound lift capacity to a maximum lift height of 42 feet and a horizontal reach of 25 feet. The GTH-844 has a lift capacity of 8,000 pounds to a lift height of 44 feet and forward reach of 27 feet. The GTH-842 and the GTH-844 have operating weights of 21,500 pounds and 22,500 pounds, respectively.
