Disk-style wood chipper

The newly introduced 1712 12-inch disk-style wood chipper from JP Carlton weighs 5,400 pounds and is towable by smaller chip trucks. The 1712 incorporates a 48-inch by 28-inch infeed opening, allowing it to swallow tops with little or no trimming. The 10 ½-inch diameter feed rollers accept wood with minimal wrapping. A 32-cubic-inch displacement hydraulic feed motor provides the power to pull and collapse limbs and tops.
