The auction is the first to be held in the new Las Vegas facility. The auction will feature more than 1,100 heavy equipment items and trucks. Bidders can bid in person at the auction site or online in real time at www.rbauction.com.

The auction is coinciding with the last day of the World of Concrete trade show.

"This Las Vegas auction will be Ritchie Bros.' first equipment auction of the year — and we are starting things off with a great selection of equipment for all types of buyers," said Joe Byers, regional sales manager, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers. "With more than 1,100 items signed up already, there are many equipment highlights in the auction, including a particularly nice line-up of specialized concrete paving equipment, including five Gomaco GT6300 concrete pavers and a 40-foot-wide Gomaco GP5000 crawler concrete paver. We expect that many attendees from World of Concrete will be taking part here on auction day too."

Specific equipment highlights include:

  • Four Mack MR688S concrete pump trucks
  • Three Caterpillar D10N crawler tractors
  • Three Caterpillar 966G wheel loaders
  • Two Caterpillar 14H motor graders
  • A 2007 John Deere 872D motor grader

Other items include more than 45 wheel loaders, 30 motor scrapers, 25 loader backhoes, 20 motor graders, 20 hydraulic excavators, six concrete pavers, 10 crawler tractors, 40 truck tractors, 35 pickup trucks and more.

Ritchie Bros. recently completed the construction of new buildings at its Las Vegas auction site. The newly constructed auction facility includes a 33,000-square-foot auction building with a 500-seat main auction theater and a 300-seat Virtual Ramp theater. The official grand opening for the new facility will be held at the next Las Vegas auction in May.

The facility is at 10500 Clark Petersen Blvd., Las Vegas, NV, 89165. More details are available on the Ritchie Bros. website.
