John Hugg of Hugg & Hall Equipment Co. in Little Rock, Ark., along with Jill Darling of United Way of Northwest Arkansas, won executive of the year awards at the 26th annual Arkansas Business of the Year Awards at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock, Arkansas Business Online is reporting. The awards were presented by Centennial Bank.
Each year, Arkansas Business Publishing Group sponsors the awards to honor businesses in three categories related to number of employees as well as business executives, nonprofit executives and nonprofit organizations in Arkansas.
Hugg was honored for his work at Hugg & Hall, a $160 million equipment rental company with 12 locations and about 420 employees in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Hugg & Hall is No. 66 on the RER 100.
