Haulotte Revenue Jumps 24 Percent in Third Quarter

French aerial work platform manufacturer Haulotte Group posted a 24-percent year-over-year increase in sales revenue in the third quarter of 2014, with €319.9 million (about U.S. $404 million), compared to €257.2 million in last year’s third quarter.

French aerial work platform manufacturer Haulotte Group posted a 24-percent year-over-year increase in sales revenue in the third quarter of 2014, with €319.9 million (about U.S. $404 million), compared to €257.2 million in last year’s third quarter. Sales continued to make significant progess in Europe, where it jumped 36 percent, primarily driven by rental fleet renewal, and grew 28 percent in North America.

In Asia Pacific, Haulotte’s sales leapt 37 percent. However, sales dropped 27 percent in Latin America, continuing the decline seen during the first half.

Service revenue growth also grew at the same pace as the first half, with an 18-percent jump in the quarter.

Looking ahead, Haulotte expects a full-year increase in sales of close to 20 percent.
