Haulotte Group Opens Subsidiary in India

Haulotte Group last week opened a new subsidiary in India as part of its key strategies to sell and deliver its products and services worldwide. The company’s strategic focus “Customer Proximity” focuses on the group’s expansion in emerging countries that have strong potential, particularly in India.

“Haulotte Group is building a strong sales network in BRIC nations, thanks to their own entities and a dealer’s network, in order to establish proximity relationship with customers, to provide them products that fit their requirements and additional services (like training, spare parts, financial solution …),” said Alexandre Saubot, chief operating officer. “The new sales subsidiary in India, based in Mumbai, illustrates this involvement.”

Souma Ray, the India subsidiary manager, said, “Haulotte Group established a sales and service operation in Mumbai, one of the key places of this huge country with a great potential market for people and material lifting equipment. It’s a major challenge for me and our team.”

“The boom of AWP demand on BRIC nations is mainly driven by the safety standards that will be implemented in the area,” added Damien Gautier, Asia-Pacific area director. “Haulotte India is proud to be a key partner of rental companies’ network, and end-users who are involved in this key issue.”
