Ware Malcomb’s design for United Rentals Stamford, Conn., headquarters features open spaces and environmental graphics.
Ware Malcomb, an international design firm, has been honored for its work in designing the corporate headquarters ofin Stamford, Conn. The project won an Award of Merit in the Commercial Office category at the International Interior Design Association Southwest Chapter’s 2014 PRIDE Awards ceremony last month.
Ware Malcomb provided interior architecture and graphic design services for the new 40,000-square-foot Class A corporate headquarters of United Rentals. The project was designed and managed out of Ware Malcomb’s Phoenix office. The project scope included high-end executive office spaces, training rooms, and an open and collaborative work area. Ware Malcomb worked closely with United Rentals to create an environment that reflected the company’s history, core values and corporate culture, which were translated by the use of branded environmental graphics applied throughout the office space.
