MTA Distributors last week added Jim Barker to its outside sales staff. Barker plans to increase the market penetration of scaffolding for MTA as well as promote its extensive product catalog.
Barker brings 25 years of knowledge working with all styles of scaffolding and scaffold accessories.
“Jim gives us a unique advantage in the rental market with his vast expertise in the scaffolding industry,” said Mark Preston, president of MTA Distributors. “We are certainly pleased to have him on board with us.”
Whites Creek, Tenn.-based MTA Distributors is a rental equipment distributor. MTA supplies rental and lawn & garden companies with the finest light construction, lawn & garden, and party equipment available. MTA also trains existing and startup companies for entry into the rental industry.
