To help its top salespeople expand their knowledge on the company’s extensive line of attachments and break away for some valuable worksite operation time, Bobcat Co. last week hosted a group of sales personnel hand selected from across its North American dealer network to join them in Fargo, N.D., for the latest Bobcat Boot Camp.

Editors from four industry publications, including RER, were also in attendance to learn more about the company’s broad attachments offering and get some time at the controls.

Attachments were divided into four work sites: forestry, concrete breaking, laser equipment and asphalt planning. Salespeople spent their early mornings in classroom sessions followed by a full day of real jobsite operation.

The company recently introduced a new attachment-dedicated section to its website, www.bobcat.com, that showcases more than 70 front-end implements and attachments. Five attachments are featured in competitive comparison videos designed to help contractors compare Bobcat attachment performance, durability and overall manufacturing quality with that of other manufacturers’ attachments.

Bobcat Co., headquartered in West Fargo, N.D., is a leading manufacturer and distributor of compact equipment including skid-steer loaders, compact excavators, VersaHandler telescopic tool carriers, utility vehicles, compact tractors and Toolcat utility work machines.
