AmQuip Names New National Crawler Crane Manager

AmQuip Crane Rental has hired Guy Erwin as national crawler crane manager. Erwin was most recently regional sales manager for Essex Crane for the eastern part of the United States. He has worked in the crane industry for more than 10 years, beginning with Carlisle Crane Rental and then Maxim Crane while working his way through school.

He has worked in the crane industry for more than 10 years, beginning with Carlisle Crane Rental and then Maxim Crane while working his way through school.

Erwin will be responsible for managing all aspects of the national crawler crane division, including safety, customer relations, key account management, fleet mix and logistics.

“We have grown extensively over the past five years and we look forward to continuing our expansion into the wind, power, petrochemical and heavy industrial sectors,” said Frank Bardonaro, president and chief operating officer for AmQuip. “Guy’s experience and expertise will enable us to provide our customers with the most comprehensive lifting capabilities in the crane rental industry for many years to come.”

Erwin will work in the Orlando, Fla., area where he resides. AmQuip will increase its presence in the southeastern United States and extend its coverage along the East Coast with the establishment of a new Orlando office.
