Aggreko has been awarded IS0 14001 certification for its environmental management system — a continuous cycle of planning, implementing, reviewing and improving the actions performed by the company to meet business and environmental goals.

Aggreko, the global leader in temporary power, temperature control and oil-free compressed air solutions, has been awarded IS0 14001 certification, recognized worldwide as confirmation that a company effectively manages and mitigates its impact on the environment. Aggreko’s environmental management system is a continuous cycle of planning, implementing, reviewing and improving the actions performed by the company to meet business and environmental goals.

Aggreko also received the OSHA 18001 certification in 2012.

Aggreko passed all ISO 14001 audits and was awarded multi-site certification by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance. The certification covers all of Aggreko’s service center locations across the United States and Canada. The process included an extensive review of the company’s environmental management system, which verifies Aggreko is executing best practices in the provision of maintenance, service and testing of all three equipment lines.

“Establishing sound practices regarding the environmental impact of Aggreko’s operations such as spill containment and noise reduction management has been high on our list of priorities for customers, so we are proud to have achieved official ISO 14001 certification,” said Terry Dressel, vice president, national operations, Aggreko North America. “ISO certification gives Aggreko customers confidence that our products and services are safe and reliable, meet all regulatory and environmental requirements and lead to a reduction in the consumption of resources.”

Headquartered in Scotland, with U.S. headquarters in Houston, Aggreko is No. 6 on the RER 100.
