Custom Equipment’s Hy-Brid HB-1430 low-level scissorlift is designed for contractors and maintenance workers to complete projects at heights up to 20 feet. HB-1430 lifts are engineered with heavy-duty construction, yet lightweight enough to maneuver over delicate floors such as tile, raised floors, mezzanines and to get onto green concrete sooner than with heavier low-level scissorlift models, the maker says.

The Hy-Brid HB-1430 offers a platform working area of 25 inches wide by 60 inches long, with 30-inch slide-out extensions for increased platform length. The lift can accommodate two people at a time and hold up to 670 pounds, allowing users to place tools and materials like drywall and ductwork on the platform, reducing the number of trips up and down on a project. The extension decks have a maximum capacity of 250 pounds.

“Our HB-1430 lift allows contractors and maintenance crews to complete the majority of jobs that they can do with 19-foot lifts, and it’s also more versatile, easier to use and increases efficiency,” says Justin Kissinger, marketing manager, Custom Equipment. “They can use it on all types of projects from start to finish, and that equates to higher utilization and increased ROI for rental centers.”

The Hy-Brid HB-1430’s platform is operated up and down by the unit’s hydraulics, while the electrical drive and steering system is powered by two, 12-volt, deep-cycle batteries, which last 10-16 hours.
